中国散裂中子源（CSNS）现公开面向所有用户征集2023年下半年开放运行的用户课题申请。中国散裂中子源（CSNS）2023年下半年开放运行时间预计从2023年10月至2024年2月，欢迎国内外用户在线提交课题申请，所有提交的用户课题申请书将由专家进行评审。
本轮用户课题申请的截止日期是2023年7月31日（7月31日零点CSNS用户服务系统将关闭申请通道）。
本轮用户课题申请征集须知：
申请人请通过CSNS用户服务系统（https://user.csns.ihep.ac.cn/）提交申请书。如果没有账号，您需要先注册一个用户账号才能在线提交。请在课题申请中阐明申请背景（研究目的、意义以及国内外现状）、实验计划、预期成果、实验方法和预计的束流时间。所有申请都将由专家统一评审。您的申请通过评审后，您将收到CSNS用户办公室的电子邮件通知，也可以在用户系统查询相关进度和结果。请在https://user.csns.ihep.ac.cn/在线完成所有的通知事项/注册，以确保实验按期完成。实验结束后，请在三个月内提交实验报告和满意度调查表。
本期用户课题申请书征集，开放的中子谱仪如下：
1、通用粉末衍射仪(GPPD)
谱仪科学家：何伦华 <lhhe@ihep.ac.cn>
注：通用粉末衍射仪(GPPD)于2021年上半年完成应力测试升级改造，本轮课题征集面向粉末衍射和残余应力检测两个研究方向。? ?
2、多功能反射仪(MR)?

3、小角散射仪(SANS)

?注：小角中子散射仪（SANS）于2023年下半年开展升级改造，预计12月开始用户实验，课题征集数量将相应减少。
4、多物理谱仪(MPI)
谱仪科学家：殷雯 < yinwen@ihep.ac.cn>
注：多物理谱仪（MPI）为CSNS与东莞理工学院合作建设谱仪，申请通道选项中公共用户请选择“CSNS通道”，东莞理工学院相关用户请选择“东莞理工学院通道”。
为满足用户需求，以上中子谱仪仍在不断进行性能提升和功能完善。本轮开放运行期间我们需要部分时间开展谱仪机器研究并解决问题。如您申请本轮机时，意味着您已同意通过使用谱仪和提供反馈来帮助我们开展谱仪机器研究，以确保这些谱仪完善功能和提升性能。您在申请前有任何问题，请联系谱仪科学家。
中国散裂中子源于2018年9月正式对外开放运行，目前正在进行2023年上半年轮次的开放运行。
The China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) offers neutron scattering to all qualified users. The experimental period of CSNS in the second half of 2023 is from October 2023 to February 2024, and we welcome all users at home and abroad to submit applications online. All proposals will be critically reviewed for scientific merit by experts.
The deadline for this proposal round is July 31th, 2023 (At 0’clock on July 31th the CSNS User Service System will close the application channel).
For this proposal round:
Applicants must submit proposal through the CSNS User Service System (https://user.csns.ihep.ac.cn/). And you must have an account to submit the proposal. The application background (purpose, significance, current status at home and abroad), experimental plan, expectations, experimental methods and estimated beamtime should be clarified in the proposal. All proposals will be reviewed by experts. Once your application has been scheduled, you will receive an email from the CSNS User Office. Please complete all of the access notification/registration online at https://user.csns.ihep.ac.cn/, to ensure that the experiment can be done on schedule. After the experiment, the experimental report and User satisfaction survey must be submitted within three months.
In the current call for proposals, the following instruments are offered to applicants.
1.?General Purpose Powder Diffractor (GPPD)

P.S:? GPPD has completed the upgrade of stress testing, and the study of powder diffraction and stress measurement will be accepted.
2.?Multipurpose reflectometer (MR)

3.?Small Angle Neutron Scatterometer (SANS)
Instrument Scientist: Yubin Ke <keyb@ihep.ac.cn>
P.S: SANS is under upgrade, and epected to start user experimentation in December, a limited number of proposals can be carried out.
4.?Multi-Physics Instrument (MPI)

P.S:?The Multi-Physical Instrument(MPI) is jointly built by China Spallation Neutron Source and Dongguan University Of Technology(DUT). When applying, public users please select "CSNS channel" ,and DUT related user please select " DUT channel".
The above neutron instrumentations are still under improvement and upgrade. If you apply for the proposal round, you have agreed to help us complete the commissioning by using the instruments and providing feedback. The China Spallation Neutron Source originated in September 2018 and was officially opened to the public. CSNS is currently in open round for the first half of 2023.
